Yes, the right click operation ought to be in there.  Its on our list of improvements, thanks.   We'll bump it up in priority, but it will still be a few weeks, sorry.

As for opening the annotation directly, the intent it to keep the tray and notes unobtrusive, so they don't open by default.  You can lock the tray open so that you can always see the note summaries, and make them bigger too by dragging the top left of the tray to make it bigger. 

When you click through a thumbnail the note opens automatically on the page.

Something you might want to try using is our not quite released Yahoo widget of the home page filmstrip downloadable from
http://www.stickis.com/download/install/StickisWidget.widget .  You'll need the yahoo widget engine to run this.  Thanks!

This one is real. I wouldn't advise anyone with a family to start a startup. I'm not saying it's a bad idea, just that I don't want to take responsibility for advising it.

Once you have created an extension, share it with the community!

There are a few major sites that list extensions for Mozilla products. The most popular and most important one is the official addons.mozilla.org. Other web portals such as erweiterungen.de list extensions that are available in certain language (such as german e.g.). There is also an Extensions forum at MozillaZine, where many authors announce their extensions and ask for help.

• To submit your extension to addons.mozilla.org, you'll need to create a developer account at https://addons.mozilla.org/developers/ See the [1] on addons.mozilla.org on this topic.
• There are several active people at The Extensions Mirror. They may find your extension themselves, especially if you post on the MozillaZine Extensions forum. However, if they miss your extension for some reason, you can announce it yourself in the Announce section.
• If you start a thread about your extension on the Extensions forum, you will probably receive some valuable feedback there.
• To submit your extension to extensionroom.mozdev.org, you'll need to send an e-mail requesting your addition to database@mozdev.org. See the database home page for more information.

After submitting your extension to addons.mozilla.org it might take severals days or weeks until your extension will be reviewed (and approval will be granted). this is important to keep the quaity of the extensions high and prevent the mozilla user community from malware extensions.

Sony is launching a social network for PS3 users called Playstation Home, according to news coming out of the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco today. The network is a 3D virtual world similar to Second Life, says Engadget, except that it’s much, much better.

Features include casual games embedded in-world, voice chat, and the ability to invite any user to play a Playstation game against you (games must be Playstation Network capable). Another amazing feature: you can share music and videos from your library with other “residents” in the world, a feature that’s drawing comparisons to YouTube. Sharing of movie downloads will also be enabled at some point. And of course there’s all the usual Second Life stuff: dressing your avatar, creating an apartment and buying and selling stuff. It’s set to launch in beta in April. (See the video below for a demo.)

Initial reviews are extremely positive, despite the typical Sony-hatred that still floats around the blogosphere following their DRM/spyware screw up. It won’t rival Second Life directly, of course - the supported platforms are completely different - but there’s definitely a sense that Sony has broken new ground with this concept.

It practically would have been clearer if they had left it in Japanese.
